Description
The D3300 is Nikon's new entry level DSLR. It was introduced on January 7th, 2014 and
replaced the D3200. It is the first Nikon DSLR to support recording 1080p video at 60 fps.
The D3300 uses a 24.2 megapixel DX sensor. It lacks an autofocus motor,
so AF-S lenses (lenses with a built in autofocus motor, known as "SWM") must be used for autofocus mode. All
other modern Nikon lenses can be used with manual focus. It has a built in flash along with a
standard hot shoe mount. It sports a high resolution LCD with 920,000 dots.
