Description
The D3X is Nikon's flagship professional grade DSLR. It was introduced on December 1st, 2008
and replaced the D3.
The D3S uses a 24.5 megapixel full-frame FX sensor. It has
an autofocus motor, so all Nikon AF, AF-S, and AF-I lenses can be used in autofocus mode. It does not have a built in flash
but it does have a standard hot shoe mount. It features a high
resolution LCD on the back with a live view mode, along with a top mounted control panel.
It also features automatic correction of lateral chromatic aberration. It has two CompactFlash card
slots giving the user the option to save images to one card, both cards (backup), or RAW and JPEG on separate cards.
